Default Chocolate Yorkies

You have to take into consideration that you will get answers from AKC, UKC, ACA breeders. The AKC has strict guidelines that they have decided are finite. No varations are allowed. However, UKC is different. I know that Goldens can be registered with UKC and imagine so could the Chocolates. There are those who believe that the AKC is definitive in regards to breed standards. Then there are those of us the don't feel that way. You have to remember that some AKC breed standards also include surgically altering dogs to fit their criteria. Why they are so set on color standards but not on natural physical conditions is beyond me. I am not condeming the AKC only stating what is obvious.

So you pretty much have to decide which organization is a better fit with your own beliefs and standards and then follow that organization's standard that matches.

There are facts in this post and the rest are my opinions. If you disagree with me, that is your right but don't attack me for my opinions.
