It could be a UTI. The squatting constantly thing is not true. Both of my dogs have had UTIs (one of them has had them many times) and neither squat constantly. They are not uncommon post abdominal surgery. And if she does have one and it is let go because the vet refuses to test, then she could remain in a lot of pain and it could lead to other serious issues. I would find a vet that is willing to test for one. If it is not that, spay incontinence is possible. Dogs don't really have the spite emotion. It could be training regression, but why right after surgery... Knowing that she was very good about pottying before, I would find a vet that is willing to make sure there is nothing medically wrong before putting her through potty training again.
