. I am sensitive in this same way, and I really feel it whenever I see a dead animal on the road (doggie, squirrel, deer, anything). It just breaks your heart, bc you can't help but wonder what happened and if they suffered. It's so sad. You honored him by being the kind of person who stopped, and turned around to check on him.
