Some people just call every animal a he. My Dad knows both of my dogs are girls but constantly says 'he'...probably bc he has a boy dog and is used to saying that all the time. I will have Pita in a pink bow, a pink harness AND a pink leash and some people will still ask if she's a boy or a girl...HELLO!
It doesn't really bother me but I make sure and correct them
