I have two girls also. We adopted Tia when Ally was apprx 18 months old. Just like skin children, we made sure we gave each the attention they needed. Tia was supposed to be small like Ally so no one would get hurt, but she grew to twice Ally's size. Ally is 3.2 lbs and Tia is 6.5 lbs. Tia did occasionally have food dominance issues, but soon got over it. She wants to be first at everything and will sometimes hurt Ally trying to get off the couch, run to the door, etc. Ally did accidentally get pushed off the couch and went into shock, but fully recovered. They love each other to death and play very well together. They could not be left alone without the other. They have never had a fight, other than playing. My only concern is the size difference, so I have to watch so Tia doesn't smash her BIG sister! lol |
