Yesterday I let Norman into the backyard for a 'squirt' and a run. I took my eyes off of him for a second and - boom - he was gone! Unbeknownst to me the gate was open! It was a frantic 2 - 3 minutes while I got shoes, coat, treats and ran out the front door. We have coyotes in the area so I was panicked! I called his name once and could hear his tags jingling! Thank goodness he stayed close to home. I wonder if anyone else has ever had a panic attack whe their baby has gotten out of sight for a few minutes?
