A Morkie or Yorktese is just a fancy way of saying a Yorkie and Maltese were mixed. There are plenty of Yorkie and Maltese mixes in shelters waiting for homes.

Yorkies and Maltese are just that - Yorkies and Maltese. There aren't different size categories. They are both toy breeds. So there is no such thing as a teacup. It is a term that is used to try and draw people to the small size and get more money. The smaller the dog, the more careful you will have to be. And if a "breeder" bred for very small size, they are not in it for the breed but for the money that they can get from "purse puppies".

If you want to breed, start checking out books from the library, buy some from the internet, go to shows, find a mentor, familiarize yourself with the breeds, pick the breed you prefer, and then consider breeding. There is no reason to mix breeds. After a long period of studying, then if you decide breeding is for you and your dogs conform to the standard (have them evaluated) and are medically sound (including their lines), then re-evaluate if breeding is for you.

You should be testing bile acids, general bloodwork, eyes, knees, hips, thyroid, etc. on both.
