I didn't have any problem after having Delilah spayed. Her personality didn't change one big and she is happy and healthy. People say that when you spay, dogs get fat and lazy. That is NOT true. My little girl is 5 1/2 pounds, runs, jumps, plays, and chases after squirrels. You shouldn't have to change any of her food or anything. Just be careful about letting her jump off of furniture for a while. Make sure she is comfortable after the surgery and if she needs it, use an e collar. I didn't use one... I just put Delilah in a preemie onesie.
