Sounds like he just needs to be reminded who's in charge
When I had door issues with Tillie, I used her harness/leash to help her understand where I expected her to be when people are coming/going through the front door.
When my girls got into the routine of heading to the side fence and barking obsessively every time I let them out to potty, I went out with them and put myself between them and the fence (not allowing them into that area) while making my
that's a no-no sound. I've had to do that with a couple other areas of our backyard and it only takes a couple of times before they understand not to continue that behavior.
As for getting them back in the house... after going out in my pjs to round them up a few times, I started giving them liver treats as soon as they'd get back in the house. I had to go to them and let them smell it a few times to get them to follow me inside before they caught on. But now they come in when I open the door and sit in anticipation of their treat
Hope this helps a little.
