My Jilly was spayed and it changed nothing about her personality. I've heard that dogs that are allowed to get fat after spaying can become sluggish and lazy but I think that has more to do with the weight causing them not to feel like or even really want to play. My Tibbe who is a male was neutered and I know it changed nothing about him either. He was a little toot before and he's a little toot now. I pray the surgery goes uneventfully and she has a comfortable post-op period. I had Jilly spayed to help prevent cancer and Tibbe to avoid the constant yearning some males have to mate, causing frustration.
