Alphie seems to have a frequent problem with anal gland discomfort. Is that normal? I have taken him to the vet approx every 6-8 weeks to have them "taken care of" ....but it seems be really stressful to him when she does it. I hate to take him but i don't want them to get infected. Is it normal for them to need attention this frequently? Is there anything that I can do to prevent more problems? Should his diet have more fiber?
