I've spent the last two days reading this thread from front to back. That is, when I could keep the tears blotted away.
This wee girl reminds me of my Jenna. She was never used as a plaything for bigger dogs, but she was a neglected rescue and keeps her scars on the inside. You see them in her eyes every once in awhile.
Summer's clinginess to you LJ is much like how Jenna is with me. It made Summer's challenges ring familiar. Sweet thing!
I am so glad Summer's story is closer to that happy ending in her forever home. We'll include our prayers and best wishes for a full and swift recovery.
