Omg... what your brother said really made me smile... perhaps we just notice it more when people call our babies the wrong sex. i know a majority of people call Lilo a girl but there are just 1 or 2 sometimes that just don't get the picture.
my bf remembers those people the most it seems. Theres not much we can do but be polite though.
