Well I agree that male or female is not really the issue. I think that if they are trained correctly they are both wonderful pets. I currently have a male and I think he is the best pet we have ever had!!! I am also planning on buying a female in February. So good luck with whatever you decide to do. I think that ywill not regret it if you were to get the male. I think that he would make an amazing companion..
