I think the most important thing is to have a vet you trust and that deals with these little ones. I don't know where in Texas you live but my breeder suggested a vet in Rock Wall that deals with these little babies all the time. I ended up using my vet because she is really good and I trust her so much with mine. We waited until Dudley hit 4lbs. and 6mo. old before he was fixed. He did great and I was a nervous wreck. These little babies just scare you being so tiny, but, he did fine and I'm sure yours will too. Just have a good vet.
