I would worry more if your vet is not 100% to do the surgery. My vet assured me all would go great and they do spays/neuters all the time on small ones and even on ferrets!! We had Keegan 3 lbs 6 ounces neutered and Fufu 3 lbs 6 ounces spayed and all went great! We did blood work first to make sure all was good and I did also pay extra for fluids under the skin. Fufu bounced back faster then Keegan did too!! Keegan kept looking for his nuggets for a week or so. The biggest problem I ever had was to keep them quite for a week and no jumping!! LOL Has she any retained puppy teeth? You can have them removed at the same time. I waited until my Nadia was a year before fixing her and hadnt came into heat yet, but you never know!!
