I take Lola into work with me all the time to visit and spend some time with her "aunties". (The ladies I work with at walgreens) I was talking to my coworker Emmie who told me her Silky terrier got out this morning and ran over the highway. I assured her that she will get her home safe, but while I was there, she got THE phone call. She started sobbing and had to sit down. Her baby had been hit by a car and was gone. I felt so bad for her, I knew if it were me getting a call about my Lola, I'd be inconsolable. I left a few minutes later because I didn't having my dog around when she looks so similar to Emmies. I wish I could have been a bigger help.
