Default I have one of each

and wouldn't trade them for anything in the world! To me, potty training was just as time consuming for both, not really easier for one over the other. As Laura said, male or female should not matter. As long as he's healthy, you can work with him on the training issues such as potty, barking, etc. Best of luck to you
