If this was diagnosed as MVD and a shunt was ruled out, I would not worry about the fluctuation, esp. if the enzymes are close to normal. Bile acids of MVD dogs may never normalize or they probably won't stay that way if they do. Diet can help (and possibly things like SAMe), but I wouldn't be alarmed if it goes up a bit. |
I'm going to try the apple bits and baking the L/D. What is SAMe? Thanks for your reply.
