Wow, this was the craziest thread I've read in a long time.
You were so right to step in. If you didn't then who knows what might have happened. You're right...it is not meddling.
When I was about 19 I had an apt and the people upstairs were always fighting. One morning I hear the woman screaming help and I hear him yelling and all kinds of noise. I called the police and they knocked down the door. When they entered he was strangling her on the floor with an electrical cord. When I went to court to testify the family and her told me that they weren't fighting like I thought...he was beating her. They were SO thankful I called the police...and I was the ONLY one in the complex that did...
So, to all, ALWAYS get involved when needed. It just may save a life. |
