Wylie has a cataract in one eye. We took him to a Vet Ophthalmologist about 1.5 yrs ago -- and the most important thing is to get your kiddo on the anti-inflamm eye drops (every other day) from the vet. If the eye/cataract gets inflamed (which is easier now that there is a cataract), the cataract can get much worse. The drops are to help delay progression. Surgery is an option, like you said. We're not their yet either. Gosh, I don't know of natural things you could try...
