If I was into showing and etc then I could see why a shower/handler would want them on their dog maybe during a week or two before a show or something but yeah for just a everyday pet I wouldn't bother. Now for the sake of leather furnitrue/car seats maybe.... but still I can't ever see using them on Maci haha even though she has looong nails from previous owner not clipping them regularly lol.
