From what I read online it looks like they get gastrointestinal issues from Crotons. It would not hurt to just mention it to your vet anyway.
There are a lot of plants that are hazardous to pups. Other things such as sugarless gum and candy and toxic, too! The xylitol in them is highly toxic!
