So sorry you are dealing with Liver Shunt. My little one Gabby had her shunt repaired on the 26th and is recovering. Medical management is a good start and will help your baby feel better. Lots of good information on the web as mentioned before. The newer procedures shut down the shunt slowly so the liver has an easier time adjusting. Check out support groups they can help you with information. I will be praying and thinking of you...lots of us have dealt with this and it is a problem in other breeds too.
