aww, im sorry it didn't work out. That is a little high for the age requirement, most rescue's agree on 21yrs and older. I agree it should be a case-by-case basis, especially since you spoke on the phone with them. However, since you live with your dad I don't know why they didn't talk to him too. Either way I'm sure another opportunity will present itself in time, don't lose hope for Kaos
