Just keep trying. Brush every day and do not let him down because he wants down. Wait until he is calm, stop brushing, pet him and you let him down on your terms. My Teddy is very squeemish. When he was little, he was very difficult, but I just shaved his hiney and clipped his eyes a couple of days ago, I won't say he is good about it, but he easily lets me brush him now - he is 7 months now. Here is his new barely clip. I was going to do his ears too, but it seemed a little too much torture for a day. Now when I brush him, he sorta rolls up like a baby and I just move him around.
