Hadn't even thought what the ammonia may do to the pups! Bad mommy! The vet told me to use that because she had a bacterial infection right after she came home and I've just continued, but I don't like it at all. I'll try some of the other suggestions. Even the vinegar and water would be so much more natural and easier on us all I think, and I have a swiffer, just hadn't used it because the vet said amonia. It does smell nice, and I don't let the kids out til it's dry (I don't believe the stories anyway - too many vets say they are fine to use.). Thank you all for your suggestions.
