Well, I guess my response would be I've never considered her a backyard breeder per say. Her dogs are akc, but of course once mixed, there goes that! I got to know her and visited her (as well she got to know me) for a good while.... I certainly would not support a puppy mill. She of course does sell these pups, but not for outrageous "designer dog" prices. I for one (don't bash me) love some of the mixes... Their unique coloring, and personalities and different traits interest me. And, since I have no desire to ever breed, the "papers" are of no use to me anyways.
I really hope this thread does not take off in a negative direction, although I can completely understand your concerns.
