Thanks everyone! I will try to get more pics. I've only had him a little over a week now, but the vet thinks he is around 1 year old. He appears for the most part yorkie to me, but I'm not real familiar with the breed. I trimed 1 ear to see if it would rise a bit as I read somewhere that the hair can weigh them down like this and I think you can tell in the pic which one I trimmed as it did rise a bit. I only trimmed a very small amount, so may try trimming more to see how far it will rise up. Reading also told me that if not kept trimmed or taped early, the ears would droop like this. I also removed quite a bit of hair on the inside of his ears. It was slap full! It was easy getting it out by hand and he never even made out like it bothered him at all,lol. I don't really care if he's pure bred YT as there are so many mixes that are in demand these days, just didn't want to be telling folks he was something he wasn't,hahaha. He's a great little fellow. Can't you picture a red bandana around his neck?
