Wound healing has a lot of factors that need to be considered-one important one is nutrition. Mack has been pretty sick and probably hasn't gotten his protein stores up to normal, so it will take a little longer with him. Your vet will be able to look at and feel incision line to tell if the wound is able to hold together. He has been one sick little boy but thankfully things are getting better.
