I would put her as close to your bed as you can then. Find something that works. My Lexi was the same way wanted to be close. She would feed them clean them and then spend time with me. That is why keeping it nice and warm helped. The pups did great and mom too. They are so cute enjoy they grow up so fast ...I never did use a heating pad worried to much about that but a extra heater in the room you chose works great..keep posting pics as they grow.
