My Miah was caught trying to bring a litter of pups up to our bedroom once. One pup was already in her doggy bed that is under my night stand. She had one in her mouth on her way up the stairs when she got caught but I didn't find that out until I rounded them up and saw that one was missing. It was crying out and I searched and searched to finally find the little one inside one of my shoes sitting on the stair step. She just wanted to be close to her mamma' (ME)
It looks like she is wanting you to be the Sargent mother to them. I would guess that you too are Extremely close !!
How did she do once she was able to take a long much needed nap?
Have you tried to move them to a different area?
I'm not sure that this will work, but seeing how she is so close to you and wanting to be by your side at all times. You may want to try getting an under the bed storage box and putting the pups in there. That way if you see mother getting frustrated you can simply move her and the pups closer to you and if need be even into your bedroom at night. If you can find one that will fit into the closet you have her in that would work. You can alway move them back to the closet when they are a bit older and mamma' isn't spending all of her time with them. Useually about 2 -3 weeks.
It seems like a lot of work but worth it to know that she will feel safe so that she is not moving them around so much.
