My lasha had cherry eye... It was the second eyelid that would stick out, like a herrina. After a couple of years I had the vet fix iit ( I think it was the same time as a dental cleaning)
A few months ago he got a ulcer.. Sounds the same as you are describing. Just do what the vet says and you will be fine. The drops are important and the checks up ... Good luck
