Years ago, we found a beautiful husky. You could see that he was very well taken care of but he had no collar or ID. So I put an ad in the paper for the next day and I also called my vets office. That night a woman called because the vet gave them my phone #. Her and her husband came to get him and you could tell they were the owners by the way the dog ran to them and kissed them. He had gotten out of the house because one of their doors wasn't closed all the way. They were so happy to be reunited with him. I refused a reward but they gave it to my boys. I was glad that they were back together again. They even gave me their address if we ever wanted to visit them.
Maybe you could contact the vets in your area to see if anyone reported their dog missing. I'm sure the owners would be thrilled that their dog was found and being taken care of. Good luck! |
