For those who remember me:

My sweet baby girl, Lucy, is there now playing with all the other beloved pets who have gone before her. She's not hurting anymore, or swollen, or embarrassed because she couldn't make it to the pee pee pad.

She went with me holding her, whispering in her ear so she knew what a good girl she was and how much her Mommy loved her.

I got my little darling at the lowest point in my life - right after my husband died. She filled a void in my heart with her warm little body and sweet kisses that I believed would always remain empty. I cannot believe that I'll never open the front door after work to find her literally bouncing because she's so happy to see me or that I'll never see her race down the hall to jump in my bed to play hide and seek in the pillows.

Sweet sleep my darling, my sweet baby girl. Mommy loves you.
