So glad your mom was able to come and help you. Mom's are the best. Treasure her!!
As for your dh that's just the way they are!!! period. They just don't think sometimes. Maybe if they carried around a pregnant belly 24/7 they would think differently.
I think you probably get more rest at work.. lol. They can make you nuts sometimes!!
