I got a natural bristle (boar) brush at Sally's for the dogs. It was for people, but works good on their hair, since Yorkie hair is much like human hair. It is gentle and does not hurt them. They mostly like to be brushed, and even the screamer who hates it will let you use that brush without too much complaint.

Oh, I think they had them for 5.95 and 7.95 or thereabouts. Can't remember for sure.
