A 5lb yorkie is a nice sturdy lil size pup in my opinion. It's the 3-3.5lb size I'm concerned about.

Me too! Other than ZoE's breeder's extremely tiny pup, no one has any that are 12 weeks and ready to go right now, but I am able to put a deposit down now to hold one if I want to. The other breeder that had 2 girls available was very clear that one of them is so small she won't be going anywhere even at 12 weeks.
