breakaway collar? like a kitty collar?

I totally am loving all this planning!
For me, Lexi (13 weeks) sleeps with me & has all night since her second night home. I get up 3-4 times a night (I have kidney issues) & take Lexi with me 1-2 x a night to our bathroom & place her on her potty pad & tell her to go potty & most times she goes. If not, back to bed we go & I take her the next time I get up. She has never went in our bed (knock on wood).

I plan to always use potty pads with her as there have been so many times with our Shih Tzu that we have had to be gone for several hours & sometimes I have to find someone to let them out. After this occurred, I swore any other dogs I would get would be pad trained. Also, we get a lot of bad (cold), snowy weather & I don't want her to have to go out in it on really nasty days. I personally don't like going out in it some days myself.
