I'm honestly not sure how this works...it just does. It's kinda of like how they don't pee while you're holding them, but as soon as you set them down on your carpet, they will...it's a mystery. Neither of mine have ever peed in my bed, but I do wake up around 3am and we both go potty

Also, i'd prefer not to have to do puppy pads forever lol Im a stay at home mom so I can watch this little guy like a hawk!
As you're in Texas, you could outdoor train. Living up north and having to deal with nasty winters, I've always prefered pad training. I also travel alot and the consistency of always going on the pads no matter where we are has worked well for my pup.
