Just the worst story I've read in a long time. You must still be in horrified shock and in such pain life seems a little unreal. Just grieve and suffer through it as that what it takes to deal with this kind of trauma. Talk about it and share your emotions and feelings and cry yourselves sick. Eventually time and good memories have a way of helping us to deal with something this terrible though you can't accept that now even though you may know it from past experience. I am so sorry for your terrible and tragic loss of you little dear one. May Charlies' time at the Rainbow Bridge more than make up for what he lost here on earth. And I thank you for posting - it is a tragic reminder to us all that we can never be too watchful. May God give you some peace eventually.
