I had a Maltese that had this surgery 6 weeks ago. He had a bandage on his leg for a week. We used Glad Press'n Seal on his bandage when we would take him out to potty to keep his bandage clean and dry. The surgery did not slow him down a bit. We had to crate him a lot so he would rest and heal. We went for our 6 weeks checkup today. The doctor released him and he is enjoying the freedom to run around. He loves to run and has really missed it. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.
