Men who are prone to violence rarely change and a woman who is pregnant is at the highest risk for murder by a spouse. 
Strange as it might seem...relationships like this often result in a "I'm sorry, let's have a baby" which never helps but, hurts!

I dont think she will, they have 0 contact until she leaves Korea, with a zero tolerance policy. I think her mind has been made up about divorcing him for awhile now, and finally she has the tools to be able to do something about it. She is a very bright girl (also a nurse!) and she is young still only 22 so has a lot ahead of her, and she can start fresh, and after he gets help (the army is providing a LOT for him too) he can have a fresh start also.
