I know I'm jumping the gun here (so to speak) but, my brain just went there...please tell your friend to first get help and above all else, whatever she does...do not get pregnant by this man!
Men who are prone to violence rarely change and a woman who is pregnant is at the highest risk for murder by a spouse.
Strange as it might seem...relationships like this often result in a "I'm sorry, let's have a baby" which never helps but, hurts!
First it's usually a pet they abuse, then your friend and next their child...very sad!
