My friend called my yesterday to tell me a very similar story. She was on her way home and found a cat hit by a car. She went home for her husband to help and when they came back he had been hit again. They picked him up and were going to take him in for help but he was already gone. Very sad
That was so kind of you to offer to help her. I just cannot imagine the heartbreak of finding your furry friend and family member that way.
