I moved from Boston to Florida, I kept her dog bed toys and food bowls in the car with me so I could access them right away... when we got to the new house I took her outide, let her sniff around the yard and while we were doing that I had my daughter carry in her BEDS and set up her food bowl and put her toys near her bed to make her feel more at home... I would maybe gate them in the kitchen until you have your new home set up so they will smell their own furniture and feel more at home when free to roam.
