I agree about him saying not to treat them like they are human...but he is right imo and he is very careful to explain that you can still give affection...you just have to do it at the right time, not when they are misbehaving or nervous or anvious because then they thik they are doing what you want or they continue to do it to get the affection.
I am so guilty of this and I am working on it. I am having good results with my aggressive little Princess Chai!!!
