I flew with my puppy last Christmas, she was five months at the time and it was not a pleasant experience for her whatsoever and that's that she was WITH me, not flying as cargo. It's definitely scary to them. I'm glad you've decided against flying her by herself
And I agree that there must be yorkies in your area. Hopefully you can find one closer to you.
