I'm with you there! That poor baby!

This reminds me of the time I went out of my way to get my mom a $300 purse she wanted in a rare size and color. She then goes on to complain it's too heavy (it's leather) so I told her to bring it back to me. Coincidentally, a customer came in the same day and liked the bag and bought it off me right then and there. As they left, my mom asked me if I could get her another one! I was furious, and to think this was just a purse! I would have been fuming if I were in your position with a living breathing animal!

I agree with the others, he's yours and you should cut all ties with her.
