All they said was Investigators say 24-year-old Shawn Funt grabbed the girl as she walked behind her mother Monday night in Arendtsville, Adams County. First off, it could have printed wrong. Second off, the young girl may have been walking all of two inches behind her mother, holding her hand, or following her coattail. Things can happen in one instant.
Sad situation either way. Poor kid. |
It also said
"State police in Gettysburg tell WHTM-TV that Funt dragged the girl to a nearby yard where he choked her. Investigators say the girl's mother heard her daughter's screams and went to her aid."
The only way the mother knew where she was, because she heard her screams. If the kid was in front of her, like she should have been, then she would have seen where he took her.
There might be more to this story but as I see it right now It doesn't make sense.!!
